Metro Boosters Parents Organization Minimize

Welcome!

Metro Boosters Parents Organization is a non-profit (501c3) organization that supports dancers and their families by sponsoring:

  • team-building activities for competition students
  • competition kick-off parties
  • fundraising opportunities for all students to assist with a student's dance-related expenses

To help fund the team-building activities and competition kick-off party, we ask that a small fee ($15/dancer, $35/max per family) be paid for each competition-line student.

Parents/students who participate in fundraising will have the fee deducted from their initial fundraising profits.  See Fundraising Opportunities for more information on how fundraising gives each participant money to help pay for dance-related expenses!

To become a member, please fill out this membership form and put it in the gray filing box on the counter at the studio.

Purpose

The purpose of the Metro Booster Parents Organization is to support the after-school activity of dance education. The dance instruction occupies the student's time throughout the school year and periodically throughout the summer. We believe that with our support, the students gain an appreciation of dance as a fine art, which is beneficial to society in general. Our organization facilitates the involvement of the students through various team-building activities.  We also provide fundraising opportunities to pay for a portion of the instructional costs and supplies necessary for the classes.

Volunteers

Each year, volunteer positions are available to guide the organization. Officer positions are held for two years, General Board Member positions are held for one year. If you are interested in volunteering, have great ideas, and have a student in dance, please contact any one of the current board members. We need your help!
